INTERLUDE: REMEMBER ME BY JORDAN ASKILL
BFC winner and fine jeweler Jordan Askill introduces his new collection, INTERLUDE: REMEMBER ME. With a focus on amulets and lockets, the pieces have both spiritual and timeless connotations, with an emphasis on personal meaning to the wearer.
The all-new Heart Locket series includes both pendants and rings. Based on the traditional glass carrying cases for rosary beads in Eastern European ideology, this series reimagines the heart shape that has been synonymous with Jordan for the duration of his career. These pieces are available in both 18 carat yellow gold with rose cut rock crystal and 18 carat rose gold with rose cut pink tourmaline, both set amongst diamond pavé. Both the pendant and ring open, revealing a private space for a memory or sentiment.
Building upon the protected species Viola Canadensis theme of last season’s Chapter 7: No Place Like Home, Jordan introduces an expanded range of single and multi leaf designs including earrings, pendants, and rings, in 18 carat gold, now featuring marquise cut diamonds.
The classic and best selling Panther range remains, reimagined in an abstract cut out form, comprising both an ear crawler and a pendant that includes bespoke cut rock crystal.
To complement this collection Jordan has created a new group of imagery, classically religious, yet youthful in feel, evoking a modernization of light through a group of stained glass windows. A team including photographer Michael Hauptman and model Alexandra Elizabeth shot this editorial at New York’s Milk Studios.
