FILIPPA K SUMMER SPRING 2018
WOMENSWEAR: FILIPPA K TOGETHER WITH SAY LOU LOU
For Spring 2018, Filippa K teams up with Say Lou Lou in a personal story of Scandinavian simplicity with an international perspective. Twin sisters Elektra and Miranda Kilbey made one of their first performances at the Filippa K Spring Summer 2013 show and after years of international success, they now return to Filippa K in their first global campaign.
The dynamic of a Scandinavian heritage with an international outlook corresponds well with both Say Lou Lou and the world of Filippa K. Our founder and Creative Director Filippa Knutsson was born in Sweden but has lived abroad for most of her life, and Say Lou Lou grew up alternately in both Sydney and Stockholm. This dual background is key to Filippa K; a warm kind of minimalism, effortless but with a strong integrity, where simple aesthetics coexist with the complexity of modern everyday life.
This season marks a new beginning for Filippa K, where we go back to our core philosophy of simple style and long lasting beauty. The campaign is shot by photographer Camilla Åkrans and captures the Kilbey sisters on a day off, coming together on the shores of California, showcasing our belief that simplicity truly is the purest form of luxury.
MENSWEAR: A NEW BEGINNING
Super model Julien Hedquist returns to Filippa K for the Spring Summer 2018 campaign, shot at the shores of California by photographer Camilla Åkrans. After a few years at the absolute top of the fashion industry, being the face of premium campaigns and magazines, super model Julien Hedquist came to a crucial turning point of his life. A decade later, he’s back in business with a rethought perspective on both work and life.
Starting over is the theme of the Filippa K Spring Summer 2018 campaign, too. From this season forward, we return to our design roots of minimalism and simplicity with essential garments for a timeless men’s wardrobe. The campaign is shot on the shores of California by photographer Camilla Åkrans, capturing the calm perspective of a circle closed, and the beginning of something new.
