This SS18 Palladium launches its widest product offering to date introducing innovative new ‘summerized’ styles for warmer weather, while updating its timeless classics. Aside from its military heritage, Palladium draws inspiration from the rebellious and revolutionary French spirit.
The collection draws design influence from pioneers of counter-culture who embraced and championed being different and shared this spirit with the world through their vision of ‘out-there style’.
An ode to the rebellious spirit of May ‘68’s student demonstrations in Paris, the Pallaphoenix references the footwear styles sported by the students who started the social revolution in the streets. Pallaphoenix is an updated version of Palladium’s Pallatennis style. Available in canvas and knit, it’s a direct replica of the silhouette with increased comfort. This rebirth of a Palladium classic from half a century ago, the shoe is also a tribute to the original Palladium factory called Phoenix.
Palladium’s SS18 range includes Pampa Free, another freshly introduced style. Owing its name to French word ‘liberté’, the essential social values of freedom inspired the design. Palladium’s signature toe-cap is removed to create a new clean-lined upper. The mid-sized shoe is available in canvas and leather options and delivered in a variety of colours including a palette of summer pastels as well as classic options of black, white and brown.
Pallaphoenix and Pampa FREE are followed by the launch of AX_EON, the newest member of the Urbanity range. The perfect hybrid of a sneaker and boot, the new offering from Palladium combines a smart athletic look with everyday practicality allowing it to adapt to multiple trend-led looks and environments in an effortless way. Ideal for the urban commuter, AX_EON provides the ultimate comfort with the removal of rubber from the toe providing a super lightweight handle. The high density EVA sole offers easy movement for intense city commutes and long explorations.
The AX_EON sneaker boot is a unisex style with the female version featuring a rounder shape compared to its male compatriot.
