JUNGWON EXPANDS INTO THE UK MARKET

Known as “The One Jacket You Need in NYC,” the brand is now expanding into the UK and Europe following considerable interest from stores, celebrities and the press here.

JUNGWON offer high performance, easy care and great looking jackets for men and women. JUNGWON jackets are designed to make you look chic, adding to your outfit rather than just covering it. The colors are carefully selected from dark blue and black to lighter colour tones for easy mix and match, and the classic styles whilst acknowledging trends, are classic pieces that you can rely on for many years.

Founder June Sohn created the brand after being unable to find a suitable jacket during years of commuting in New York in unpredictable weather conditions: “I saw many high performance outerwear pieces in the specialty stores for serious outdoors but they were not suitable for my everyday work clothes. As a designer working in the city, I needed a great look. I needed more than just a raincoat or wind break. I looked for outerwear that I can wear regardless of the destination but it was so hard and my patience ran out. I stopped looking and started to make one for myself. As I was working as an outerwear designer for another designer brand, I had the knowledge and skills to make them and from that I launched my own label JUNGWON. But for my own label I looked for different fabrics and materials, as I wanted to make outerwear that can protect from the wind or rain but also be machine-washed at home.”

JUNGWON aims to give secure protection and comfort and all fabrics are waterproof, wind-proof, wrinkle-free and breathable. To maximize function, we have chosen the most advanced high-tech materials available in the market. They are very strong and resilient in any weather condition but still breathable, and comfortable.
