BOOHOOMAN SS17

Following the successful launch of boohooMAN’s standalone site earlier this year and recent collaboration with recording artist and actor Quincy, boohooMAN introduces a refreshing, street style inspired collection for SS17, continuing with the brands move in to a more design, trend led direction.

The range consisting of five key trends takes on a new aesthetic, combining urban, hip hop culture with vibrant, contrasting colourways. The collection as a whole offers global street style looks for men of all ages using layering to combine and integrate key pieces together; keeping with the brands fluid style and cultural relevance.

DISTILLED lays a strong foundation for spring/summer 17, combining pastel pinks, mints and neutral tones with exaggerated layering. Modern silhouettes, oversized jersey, soft denim, sarcastic graphics and hybrid jackets are showcased through preppy styling. Key design details include; distressed denim, fraying and mod accessories.

RETRO SPORTS introduces minimalistic athleisurewear to the mix. Panelled joggers, zip through jackets, windbreakers, velour shorts and funnel necks provide a fun, quirky edge. Key design details include: primary stripes, colour blocking, ribbed collars, clean cut lines and pastel snapbacks.

GRAPHIC JUNGLE showcases safari and military utility through urban culture, updating the current wardrobe with modern and new age camo, paneling and army prints. Khaki, olive and burnt orange accents nod towards the hip-hop underground scene.

SURF TROPICS presents itself in a laid back manor. Oversized, relaxed cuts are key, while bold logos and blanket hoodies compliment the trends surfer/skater vibe.

SUMMER CHROME provides a darker, monochrome element to spring/summer. Biker jackets, boxed jumpers and harsh cuts take centre stage while strong graphics offer a glimpse in to the brands new ‘MAN’ design; showcased on this seasons statement biker jacket and monochrome shorts.
