5 TRAVEL TIPS WITH ROBERT TATEOSSIAN
Summer is finally here and Robert Tateossian – the king of cufflinks – shared with us his ultimative travel tips, for business and holidays.
- What are your essential items when travelling that you never fly without?
My multi plug adaptor and noise cancellation headset are a must. Since I am always on the road I also have a pouch that contains medicines to cover any type of eventuality. - Do you have an inflight grooming regime?
I always pack a sleeper suit if getting on an overnight flight and drink a minimum of a litre of water. I try to keep alcohol to a minimum though I enjoy a nice glass of wine on board. If the flight is less than 7 hours and it is an overnight flight I always eat before boarding. I also moisturize before going to sleep. - And what are your top tips for looking fresh after a long-haul flight?
When home after a long-haul flight I try to go to the gym for a light session on the lifecycle machine to get the blood flowing. - What is your go-to flying wardrobe?
I do not like to travel in track suits as I feel as if I am going to the gym. I like to wear something that reflects my mood and always think of the climate of where I am landing. I always travel with clothes that will wrinkle less easily and that are not too tight. Always pack a sweater because no matter how warm the temperature is likely where you land it can be freezing cold on the aircraft. - Do you pack light or heavy?
Though travelling light is very convenient my several pieces of luggage are always marked heavy – lift with caution.
