A brief interview with Fabio Lentella, CEO of Move, to explain why this collaboration happened.

What is Move? – Move is a reality streetwear/sneakers born in Italy in 2002. Yes, you read it right: in Italy in 2002! It sounds so easy to talk now about streetwear and sneakers, it is so common these days to use words like street fashion or fashion lifestyle. If you think about it now these words seems like they have been part of our life forever, but at the time it wasn’t like that. Early 2000’s have been just the dawn of what it would have become 15 years alter the style in general of the guys “down in the street”.
We don’t know exactly what Move is…

It’s not only a brick and mortar store
It’s not only an online store
It’s not only a brand.
It’s a mix of all the above but it’s run by a team of people desperately in love with everything concerning urban culture.

Why the co-branding with ellesse? – When the opportunity was first proposed to develop a Move ellesse collaboration it was like becoming a child again. Let me make myself clear…

ellesse is the iconic brand of ‘made in Italy’ sportswear heritage, and all of us here at Move link it to our parents and to the iconic items that they were wearing when we weren’t even adolescents.

For us to collaborate with a brand tied so deeply to our childhood has been like reliving those moments.
