BROOKS ENGLAND: B3 & D SHAPED SADDLE BAG
D-Shaped – £95.00
The D-Shaped Bag was featured in Brooks Catalogues as far back as 1910. This innovative design features a two piece construction which, whilst the outer sleeve remains permanently attached to the saddle, has an inner purse that may be removed so that its owner may secure their valuable contents.
The purse is attached to the sleeve by a “Sam Browne” fixing, preventing it from sliding out, even under extreme conditions.
B3 – £190.00
Brooks have collaborated with the Royal College of Art in London (RCA) on a range of moulded leather bags produced in the Brooks saddle factory in Smethwick, England. The bags are made using the same machinery and techniques employed to make famous Brooks Leather Saddles. The shape is based on the width of the famous B17 saddle, Brooks most iconic model, for the B1 and B2 bags, and twice that width for the larger B3 edition. The B3 can be fitted on the bike by attaching the bag to the frame or the rear rack, or the bag may also be worn as a shoulder bag thanks to the detachable strap that accompanies it.
