LACOSTE’S: EXPLORATEUR CASUAL

Autumn / Winter 2017 sees Lacoste’s Explorateur Casual collection informed by the functionality of technical outerwear. Created for the urban explorer, the theme for the season is driven by the desire to seek out fresh perspectives and look all around for new ways to experience one’s surroundings

It’s the city that plays host to the urban explorer: he is stylishly equipped for treading new paths in scenarios that demand energy and reflection simultaneously. The application of winterised materials sees the Explorateur and Explorateur Mid styles elegantly updated for this cooler, urban climate. The premium leather uppers have

been tested and approved to an international standard of 15,000 master flexes demonstrating the functionality of the water-resistant chemical added during the tanning process.

Comfort is paramount for the man who wants to lose himself in his surroundings. For the winter season, the collection is lined in a luxurious wool piqué around the heel and tongue. An additional water-resistant element is introduced with the gusset tongue construction – crafted from cashmere buck leather.

The colour palette of charcoal grey and jet black sees the collection work in harmony with a metropolitan setting. The black styles are also available as a monochromatic option with co-ordinating soles.

The debossed outline of the iconic Lacoste croc punctuates the side of each style and is subtle but unmistakable.
