KEEPING THINGS LAIDBACK WITH ONEPIECE
In an effort to capture and conceptualize the essence of a carefree Sunday filled with beautiful nothingness, the idea of a brand built around the art of slacking is right up my street.
By now I am sure you all know I mostly live in tracksuits, from the baggy for lazy days at home to the slim/skinny fit to give you that tailored look about town, I love a good tracksuit. So, when I came across ONEPIECE about a year ago I knew I was going to own something from them sooner or later.
I originally had my eye on a few of their jumpsuits but then I spotted the GRAND SLAM 1980 set and knew I had found what I wanted. A tribute to the epic Wimbledon Final between Bjørn Borg and McEnroe in 1980, the matching joggers and zip-up sweater tracksuit is perfect for your day to day or even for quick drinks in the evening with friends. I guess what I am getting at here is that this matching set is classic without a fuss.
With this set being unisex, I wasn’t too sure what the fit would be like. But I have to say it fits like a dream and the craftsmanship is exceptional. I teamed my set-up with a pair of chunky white sneakers to complement the white stripes.
Simply put, ONEPIECE is premium leisurewear at its core with a twist of free-spiritedness. The result is a worldwide phenomenon of re-engineered jumpsuits and tracksuits that allow you to go from your home and onto the streets and clubs.
