TRETORN SS19 SNEAKERS
Swedish outdoor heritage brand Tretorn introduce their new collections for SS19, including the eagerly anticipated re-launch of the brands iconic sneaker line. Founded in 1891, innovation and functionality have always been at the heart of the companies philosophy, resulting in high quality, contemporary products designed to withstand the harsh conditions of the Swedish outdoors.
Synonymous with the world of Tennis, the first Tretorn sneaker started life in 1900. As popular on the court as off, the footware offered a perfect balance of function and style. Delving into the archives for SS19, Tretorn have resurrected the popular original styles of the 1960’s whilst staying true to the brand’s modern day sustainable and eco-conscious way of manufacturing.
RACKET – Launched in 1961 as a modern innovation for professional tennis players, the RACKET, recognised by its signature three-layer vulcanized outsole, receives an update for SS19 with an improved comfort fit. Created from locally sourced natural rubber and eco-suede, forming part of the Eco Essentials range, the iconic trainer is re-invented for today, offering the perfect balance of sustainability and style.
NYLITE – Another resurrection from the 1960’s, the NYLITE sneaker is a classic tennis shoe favoured by Björn Borg and other tennis stars from generations gone. Designed to look equally good on and off the courts, the classic model receives an update in comfort and fit and becomes a further addition to the Eco Essentials range thanks to the natural rubber outsole, recycled rubber insole and Eco suede materials used, adapting the classic style for the twenty-first century customer.
HYBRID – New for 2019, the Tretorn HYRBRID is the brands next generation of functional boots. By merging the heritage and knowledge developed over more than 100 years of Tretorn deslgn, the Hybrid boots are created for urban exploration whilst providing premium protection, design and functionality, whatever the weather.
