This AW19, Florian London takes a nostalgic trip down memory lane, back to Founder, Tola Adeagbo’s childhood growing up in London. Adeagbo spent many hours exploring the shelves of local libraries, hidden away in the vast depths of classic novels where her imagination would run wild. The collection celebrates the elegance librarians’ exude whilst quietly studying, acting as the gatekeeper to an abundance of exquisite stories.

AW19 is intrepid yet refined, championing the style of this unexpected muse who inspired many to lose hours daydreaming as the heroine of their own adventure tale. Last season’s coveted mock- croc bucket ‘Ava’ bag is re-invented with a new angular exterior in a shade of terracotta – synonymous with the school satchels that littered the library floors of Adeagbo’s youth. A vintage inspired watersnake print is embossed into Italian leather on ‘Vienna’, a demure new mini-bag with a statement pop of colour in the form of a yellow top handle.

Staying true to brand, Florian showcases their signature key and lock gold claps on each of their core styles this season. Striking colours and patterns tell the story of its wearer much like the cover of a magnificent book and the tale within.
