KAPPA REMINDS US WE’RE ‘STRONGER TOGETHER’ THIS SEASON
Italian heritage brand KAPPA presents its Autumn/Winter 20 collection with the ‘Stronger Together’ Campaign, a raw and unfiltered portrayal of the unprecedented times we have found ourselves in. Produced during the pandemic and set in the familiarity of the home, the images seen are reflective of the reality of lockdown, without the use of professional hair and make-up, and echoing KAPPA’s authenticity and strong family values.
This AW20 collection mixes stories from KAPPA’s iconic ranges; Japan, 222 Banda and Big Banda – a playful vibrant mix of colours to brighten the mood and materials of vinyl and neoprene, alongside classic shell suits, puffas and statement flares, available for both men and women.
For decades KAPPA has developed an iconic identity with strong branding amongst global sports kits, and this summer, for the first time since the brand was founded in 1967, Kappa separated its infamous ‘Omini’ logo to reflect the current crisis, and to raise awareness of the importance of social distancing. The KAPPA ‘Omini’ logo has been the very DNA of the brand and the logo represents KAPPA’s heritage, strong community values and team spirit, something that has never been so important considering the current global crisis of COVID- 19. KAPPA has changed its logo across their global social media platforms, with the goal to inject positivity and encourage everyone to #Cometogether, while we are apart.
The ‘Stronger Together’ campaign was shot by Elliot Kennedy in London, produced and directed by Rich Evans.
