PROSPEX SPEEDTIMER MECHANICAL CHRONOGRAPH 1969 RE-INTERPRETATION
Please see below the brand new Prospex Speedtimer Mechanical Chronograph 1969 Re-Interpretation.
Seiko’s tradition as a pioneer in sports timing began in the 1960’s, when the company introduced to the world’s sporting stage a range of timing devices that set a new global standard of precision. Seiko then made its major competition debut as the official timekeeper for Tokyo’s high profile international sporting event in 1964. Making precisely accurate professional timing instruments, with no prior experience, resulted in the Seiko Watch Corporation design code of visibility, legibility and functionality.
The Speedtimer Prospex Collection represents Seiko’s professional timekeeping heritage, and this brand new design is inspired by the world’s first automatic chronograph with a column wheel and vertical clutch, the Seiko 5 Speedtimer 1969. The latest addition to the Prospex collection also features new innovations such as a high contrast dial and subdial colours for legibility, and the 8R calibre.
The Prospex Speedtimer Mechanical Chronograph 1969 Re-Interpretation will be available at Seikoboutique.co.uk from September, £2,740.
