RAYMOND WEIL FREELANCER DIVER 2775 COLLECTION
RAYMOND WEIL, the esteemed independent Swiss watchmaker renowned for its unwavering commitment to craftsmanship, proudly presents the 2023 freelancer diver collection. This launch represents a significant milestone as the brand continues to push boundaries in terms of innovation and precision. Inspired by the captivating sport of Wing Foil, which embodies independence, precision, and a genuine connection with water, these timepieces capture the spirit of freedom and adventure like never before.
To celebrate this new launch, RAYMOND WEIL has partnered with Titouan Galea, three-time Wing Foil world champion. Through this collaboration, the brand explored the champion’s world, his remarkable skills and the mindset that propelled him to success. Drawing inspiration from Titouan Galea and from the high-tech foils and wings used by champions in Wing Foil riding, the new freelancer diver collection perfectly encapsulates the values of this exhilarating sport while upholding RAYMOND WEIL’s timeless craftsmanship.
At the heart of these extraordinary timepieces beats the Swiss-made Calibre RW4200 movement, delivering precision and offering a 38-hour power reserve. Meeting the highest standards of diving watches, these timepieces are technically exceptional and highly reliable. A robust case design and a screw-down crown guarantee water resistance of up to 300 meters, making them the perfect companions for underwater adventures.
The captivating gradient dials of all four versions transition from a darker hue at 6 o’clock to a lighter tone above, significantly enhancing visibility underwater and in low-light conditions. Super-LumiNova® accents on the hands and indexes further improve legibility. At the same time, the two-tone models tastefully highlight the watch’s secondary colour through their hands and hour markers, adding an exquisite touch of sophistication.
The ingenious redesign of the date window, taking the form of a waterdrop and accompanied by a custom typeface, creates a symmetrical aesthetic. Encased in a sleek 42.5mm stainless steel case, all models feature a redesigned bezel with a Super-LumiNova® dot at 12 o’clock, providing a classic dive watch look with enhanced readability.
The full steel version of the freelancer diver is available with a 5-row stainless steel bracelet or a pierced rubber strap, while the two-tone models exclusively offer a 5-row stainless steel bracelet. Additionally, the screw-down engraved case-back, with a water landscape illustration paying tribute to freedom felt at sea, symbolises RAYMOND WEIL’s core value of independence. The soaring bird represents freedom and exploration, capturing the essence of Wing Foil riding and the creative DNA of RAYMOND WEIL.
RAYMOND WEIL’s 2023 freelancer diver collection blends technical excellence with a captivating design. With their Swiss-made Calibre RW4200 movement, 300-meter water resistance, exquisite gradient dials, and meticulous attention to detail, these timepieces pay homage to the exhilarating sport of Wing Foil, embodying the values of independence and precision. Celebrating the spirit of freedom and adventure, these watches redefine elegance in diving timepieces.
